About Crossref-it.info
The Cross Reference Project (Crossref-it.info) has been set up to provide high-quality, easy to use resources for students to help them make essential connections between areas of study and their cultural context. The Cross Reference Project is a partnership created and supported by the Stapleford Centre, the Christianity and Culture Project, Bible Society, and a team of experienced teachers and examiners working in schools and higher education.
The Stapleford Centre
The Stapleford Centre is an education centre based in Nottingham. Its activities include:

Running courses on a variety of educational topics. These include INSET days and university-validated distance learning courses at Certificate, Diploma and Masters levels.

Publishing resources (books, CD-ROMs and websites) for teaching in a variety of subjects, including RE, English, Maths, French, German and Science.

Publishing research.

An online bookshop for teachers.
The Stapleford Centre is a private company limited by guarantee, registered in England and Wales whose registered office is situated at The Stapleford Centre, The Old Lace Mill, Frederick Road, Stapleford, Nottingham NG9 8FN and is also registered as a charity.
Christianity and Culture
Christianity and Culture is a research and teaching project which seeks to explore and explain one of the most important influences on Western art, history and literature. It is based at the Centre for Medieval Studies, University of York , and St John's College, Nottingham .
The Project's activities include:

Production of resources for students and teachers, including CD-ROMS, books and web-based material.

Organising international academic conferences

Sponsoring sessions at major conferences in the UK and USA.
Bible Society
Bible Society explores the interaction between the Bible and the contemporary arenas of politics, the Arts, the Media and education. The education work of Bible Society includes:

Projects in partnership with organisations such as the BBC, Channel 4, King's College Cambridge, St Andrew's University, the London school of Economics

Researching the teaching of the Bible in schools.
